The UK's trees are in decline. Once a wild island teeming with forests that ran from Cornwall to Scotland, Britain has now sadly lost 98% of its trees.
We want to restore the heritage of our ancient Celtic rainforests to protect our wildlife, prevent flooding and soil erosion, improve our wild spaces and help absorb c02.
The only thing that's stopping us is getting the word out there! We have no authority to preach to anyone about climate change. We just want to stop talking and start planting.
First one thousand trees, then one million
We know planting trees has a positive effect on the environment. So, we want to help as many people as possible plant at least one tree in their name. We're already on target to get 1000 trees in the ground (with plans for a lot more). But we can't do it without your help.
Planting trees in uniform lines is not how we roll. We aim to encourage natural planting architecture that mimics how wild trees grow. By using native species and cultivating scrub we can help mimic established woodlands. After all, trees know best!
The only thing that's stopping us planting more trees is getting the word out there! Please help to get trees in the ground not just by donating, but spreading the word and sharing this page with your friends and family.
We hold volunteer days where you can your hands dirty, by planting trees you've donated or helping us maintain our partner sites. We're releasing dates and details soon!
Climate Change is such a huge problem, it’s easy to feel like we can’t make a difference. Although much of the clout is in the hands of corporates and big businesses, together, we believe we can make a difference.
Every little tree helps!
